PARTICIPATE AS AN INDIVIDUAL
We ask each Run 4 Kids team member to commit to the fundraising goals listed below. In return, we support you every step of the way and provide benefits that make this one of the most meaningful races you’ll ever run. You’ll have access to an easy-to-use fundraising platform to share your story and
collect donations, VIP port-a-potties at the race start, VIP transportation to
the full and half marathon starts, exclusive Run 4 Kids race-day gear, prizes,
and ongoing support from our team.

For nearly 20 years, participants have consistently met and often exceeded
their fundraising goals. If $500 feels like a stretch, you’re not alone, but it is
much more achievable than you might think. Peer-to-peer fundraising works
because people give to people. When friends, family, and coworkers hear directly from you about why this cause matters, they are far more likely to step up and support you.
How you're helping Youth Homes kids
For more than 50 years, Youth Homes has provided care and support for children and teens facing abuse, neglect, emotional trauma, and substance use challenges. Through therapeutic homes, emergency shelter, and counseling, youth are given a safe place to land and the tools to heal.
This year, your fundraising goes directly to the Birnbaum Youth Home, a new therapeutic shelter that will give kids in crisis somewhere safe to go. Because of you, youth won't spend nights in CPS offices, emergency rooms, unsafe homes, or on the streets. Instead, they'll have a place to breathe, stabilize, and begin again.
Why peer-to-peer fundraising works
People give because you ask. When you share why this matters to you, it creates a powerful ripple effect. A quick message, a social post, or a conversation can inspire others to take action.
Every dollar raised is more than a donation. It's a night of safety, a moment of calm, a step toward healing. You already have everything you need to make an impact: your voice, your network, and your willingness to show up.
Together, this is a race worth finishing.
